Some of the locations you visit on your first trip to a new city just stick to your mind...
I have this with the beautiful "Villa Zevaco", a building created by Jean-François Zevaco - a famous French/Moroccan architect in 1975.
I love the terrace (with free wifi) on a sunny day. The food and drinks - from a tajine lunch to very nice pastries and strong black coffee - are definitely good quality and the service is always very friendly.
It has become my go to place when I am in Casablanca and want to meet up with other professionals in the industry. It's also very convenient that everyone knows this icon of modern architecture.
"Shall we do a breakfast meeting ?"
"Sure, see you at Paul"
And that's that... No directions to give and no questions about the location. Everybody knows/comes to Paul's.
If you're in Casablanca, go and have a coffee or tea on the terrace but also take a peek inside. The decoration and building will send you back to the late 70ies.
